MapleCheck is an independent project — not a company, not a government service, and not anybody's side hustle with a marketing budget. It is built and researched by hand because we wanted this to exist and it didn't. We are trying to make something people will actually use, and the fastest way to get there is hearing from the people using it.

Anything is fair game

You don't need a polished suggestion or a reproducible bug report. "I couldn't find X", "this wording confused me", "I expected it to do Y" — all of that is useful, and the small annoyances are usually the ones we can't see from the inside.

  • Something that didn't work, or behaved unexpectedly
  • Something you looked for and couldn't find
  • A feature you'd use, or a reason you stopped using it
  • Wording that reads wrong, or a page that's hard to follow
  • Anything about the browser extension — it's the newest part and the least tested

What we'll do with it

Read it, all of it. This is a small enough project that every message gets seen by a person rather than a queue.

We can't promise to build everything, and some things we'll deliberately say no to — anything that would compromise how carefully the ownership research is done, for instance. But if we don't do something, it won't be because nobody read it.

The email field is optional. Leave it blank and we simply won't be able to reply; fill it in and we'll only ever use it to answer you.
