Get a company added, or tell us we got something wrong

MapleCheck is researched by hand, one company at a time, using public filings, corporate registries, and acquisition records — not automated guessing. If you run a Canadian company we haven't covered yet, or you've spotted something inaccurate, this is how to reach us.

For business owners: get your company added

Email us at maplecheck@northmail.ca with:

  • Your company name and website
  • Confirmation of Canadian ownership — a registry filing, a note from an owner/officer of the company, or another verifiable source
  • Anything else that helps us verify quickly (province of incorporation, parent company structure if any)

We hold every entry to the same bar regardless of who submits it — public filings and corporate registries first, deal/acquisition records for private companies, and clear "still verifying" labels when sources genuinely disagree. (Self-reported ownership from someone who works at or runs the company is treated as a strong source, not an automatic pass.)

Something looks wrong

The fastest way to report an error is directly from the extension — open the popup on the site in question and use "Report incorrect data," which sends us the exact entry you're looking at.

You can also email maplecheck@northmail.ca directly with what should change and, if you have one, a source.

A site isn't covered yet

If you're browsing a site the extension doesn't recognize, open the popup and click "Request we look into this site" — that's the fastest way to get it into our research queue. It goes straight to the same place as an email, with none of the typing.
