Not Canadian, but not US-owned either · Winnipeg, Manitoba (operations) / Amsterdam, Netherlands (Just Eat Takeaway)
Founded in Saskatoon in 2012 and long headquartered in Winnipeg, but Canadian ownership ended in 2016 when Netherlands-based Just Eat bought it for $200M. Just Eat merged with Takeaway.com (also Dutch) in 2020 to form Just Eat Takeaway. In 2025 Prosus — a Dutch-listed group controlled by South Africa's Naspers — agreed to acquire Just Eat Takeaway, so the parent may change again, but under either owner it is neither US-owned nor Canadian-owned.
