Canadian-founded, US-owned. Live Clean was created by Belvedere International, a family-owned Mississauga company founded in 1981. The Hain Celestial Group (NASDAQ: HAIN) bought Belvedere, and Live Clean with it, in February 2015 (Hain's own announcement, carried on Newswire, plus trade coverage). Hain's later SEC filings still list Live Clean among its personal care brands. Hain has said publicly it is exploring a sale of its personal care business; no buyer has been announced, so this stays US-owned until one is.
