Not Canadian, but not US-owned either · North Vancouver, BC (design and HQ) / Jinjiang, China (Anta Sports)
One of the most commonly assumed-Canadian brands that isn't. Founded in North Vancouver in 1989 and still designed there, but sold to France's Salomon in 2001, then to Finland's Amer Sports in 2005. Since 2019, Amer Sports has been controlled by Anta Sports of China, which led a consortium buyout. Not US-owned, but no longer Canadian-owned despite the Coast Mountains branding.
